ASUS announces new laptops with OLED screens


ASUS announced new notebooks during the virtual event “Create the Uncreated“. Everyone has one schermo OLED, so they offer very high visual quality. The various models are part of the series ZenBook, VivoBook e ProArt. They will be available all over the world, but prices for the Italian market will be announced in the coming weeks.

The new notebooks in the VivoBook series are VivoBook Pro 14/15 and VivoBook Pro 14X / 16X, each offered with 11th Gen Intel Core or AMD Ryzen 5000 processors. VivoBook Pro 14/15 have a 14 and 15.6 inch OLED screen with resolution up to 2880 × 1800 pixels (models with LED backlit screen are also available), Intel processors up to Core i7-11370H or AMD up to Ryzen 9 5900 HX, up to 32 GB of SSD RAM up to 1 TB and NVIDIA video card up to GeForce RTX 3050.

I VivoBook Pro 14X/16X have similar specifications, but you can choose configurations with a 4K OLED screen and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti video card. All integrate various USB ports, HDMI output and microSD card reader. Models with Intel processors also support the Thunderbolt 4 standard.

The new notebooks in the ZenBook series are ZenBook 14X and ZenBook 14 Flip. Again the main difference is represented by the processor. ZenBook 14X has a 14-inch screen (IPS 2.5K, OLED 2.8K and OLED 4K), Intel processors up to the Core i7-1165G7 or AMD up to the Ryzen 9 5900HX, up to 16 GB of RAM, SSD up to 1 TB and a video card integrated or NVIDIA GeForce MX450.

Similar specifications for ZenBook 14 Flip, but it is a convertible, so the screen can be rotated up to 360 degrees.

The new ProArt series notebooks are ProArt Studiobook 16 e Pro 16. Being designed specifically for content creators, ASUS has chosen better hardware components: 16-inch screen (IPS 2.5K and OLED 4K), Intel processors up to Core i9-11900H and Xeon W-11955M or AMD up to Ryzen 9 5900HK, up to 64 GB of RAM, SSD up to 4 TB and NVIDIA video cards up to GeForce RTX 3070 and RTX A5000.
