BenQ sessions for the future of learning

Easy to say “digital transformation”. In many sectors it is in fact a mere translation (or almost) of operating modes, a slow staggering of the technological center of gravity from paper to bits and a linear evolution that over the decades has moved towards the PC first and then the cloud. Didacta 2022 it is instead the emblem of what the digital transformation is projecting into the world of teaching, where there is a real paradigm shift at stake in technological, social and operational terms, with changes that promise to involve students, professors and families within the same great revolution.

BenQ, one of the main brands participating in the event, with its lineup of meetings will explore many essential themes in this evolutionary parable, touching one by one essential aspects of a process that is now fully in progress. The event is in fact woven around a very high level training program that brings together the stakeholders of the school world: from school managers to teachers, through university teachers, trainers, specialized journalists and the main professional orders. All with an inalienable (indeed, essential) emphasis on the new frontiers of technology.

Didacta 2022: a new learning

The fifth edition of Didacta Italy Fair (Fortezza da Basso, Florence, 20-22 May 2022) is dedicated to Maria Montessorifrom whose philosophy that spark was born that led to a new type of teaching / learning: children, and by extension students, are not containers to be filled, but intelligences to which teach to learn. Never like today ability to learn it is at the center of a new way of thinking about the relationship between school and children, between students and teachers, between the institution and citizens. Innovation can do a lot from this point of view since it is able to forge those tools that the new generations need to marry new ways of learning, opening their minds to the new ways of teaching that laboriously begin to surface.

The pandemic has undeniably been a great experimental training ground, with some successes and many disappointments. In any case, it had the merit of imposing a reflection on what distance, relationships and deferred learning can entail, suggesting the best strategies to get out of it with a more flexible, advanced, renewed and powerful school concept. BenQ has prepared for Didacta 2022 a schedule of sessions of great importance to reflect on how the IT tool plays a central role in the school of the future and cannot today abdicate its responsibilities in this sense.

Didacta is for us not only a showcase of absolute importance, but also a moment of fundamental exchange with teachers and all the actors involved in teaching. Collecting their experiences is what has allowed us in all these years to always be one step ahead, anticipating solutions to needs that are now more current than ever, such as the need to reconcile interactivity and safety.

In fact, the concept of “DaD” and the reference to remote teaching disappear: hybridization is in fact the solution for overcoming every obstacle and this leap can only be accomplished when the driving force comes from the organization and from the technological instrumentation in dowry:

Integrated software enables rapid sharing of materials and annotations in real time from the digital whiteboard to student devices and vice versa, creating a collaborative environment. You can also write and draw in different colors and take notes on any application or video source, as well as take screenshots, save and share them instantly.

A new company must start from a new school. But a new school must necessarily start from new concepts, new methods and new prerogatives. The nascent technologies are not the cause of this, but the emerging solution.
