There are a few things to consider when it comes to running shoes or jogging shoes – the shoes can also be correspondingly expensive. That doesn’t have to be the case, however, as our price tip from Nike shows.
Anyone who is thinking about buying new running shoes is often spoiled for choice in the sports shop or online: As a recreational athlete, buy a neutral shoe (cushioned shoe for runners with normal rolling behavior) or a professional stability or stability shoe that offers a lot Attaches importance to guidance and posture of the foot?
In the test, our partner AllesBeste tested a total of 24 running shoes. These included neutral shoes, training shoes, competition shoes, barefoot shoes, trail running shoes and much more. On over 200 km of running distance – partly on trails, over hill and dale, partly on asphalt – the shoes had to prove themselves in their respective field of application. The test winner was a classic for almost 100 euros, which has been reissued over and over again for 20 years. But there are also cheap models from Nike that are definitely worthwhile.
Not for laypeople: Price tip for experienced junkies
In addition to the test winner, the Adrenaline GTS from Brooks for just under 100 euros, which is also well-advised for beginners, there is also an inexpensive model that is particularly convincing: The Revolution 5 from Nike costs around 50 euros on average and thus turns out to be a real price tip. Instead of high-tech bells and whistles, the focus here is on functional minimalism: the running shoe is characterized by a secure fit and determined running behavior.
Technically, however, it is one of the more demanding models in the test. If you know what you are doing while running, you will get the most out of yourself with this shoe. The structure is simple, the damping is only moderate. The weight of the runner is transferred better into the ground than with other models. So that this does not affect the joints, you should already have sufficient muscle mass and a certain amount of know-how. For little money you get an elegant, modern running shoe for experienced runners at Nike.
