More security on Chrome for iOS

Version 104 of Chrome for iOS will include a feature that has long been available on desktop and Android: Enhanced Safe Browsing (Safe browsing in Italian). When the user visits a website, the browser sends some information to Google to check the reliability of the site. If phishing attempts or malware are detected, Chrome displays a warning on the screen to indicate the danger.

Another useful feature included in the new version of Chrome for iOS allows you to check if your login credentials have been compromised during a data breach. In case of positive feedback, the browser suggests to change them. Users can also take advantage of the integrated password manager to automatically enter passwords on websites and apps. However, the use of dedicated solutions, such as LastPass or 1Passwordas there is a lot of malware circulating that tries to access the data stored in the browser.

Google has also updated the tool for the translation of pages that take advantage of on-device machine learning. Finally the functionality will be introduced Chrome Actions which allows you to perform quick actions directly from the address bar, such as clearing your browsing history, opening an incognito tab or setting Chrome as your default browser.
