Lenovo IdeaPad in an extreme price slide: Is the Duet Chromebook worth it?

The Lenovo IdeaPad Duet is a Chromebook running Google’s Chrome OS operating system. Many applications are therefore in the cloud, which has the advantage that even less powerful devices rarely experience performance problems. Chrome OS also supports Android apps.

The Levono Chromebook offered here offers 64 GB of internal memory and a 10.1-inch Full HD display (1920×1200 pixels). The main memory is 4 GB. A keyboard with touchpad is included.

Our assessment:

The Chromebook is a real entry-level device, and you shouldn’t expect too much, especially in terms of performance. The memory is also tight at 64 GB. If you mainly want to use the tablet for surfing and streaming, install one or the other Android app and occasionally type a few small texts, you should get a cheap partner at a fair price with the device.
