Michelle Yeoh will be an elf swordsman in The Witcher: Blood Origin.
Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh (Crazy Rich Asians, Boss Level, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) to play Scian face to Laurence O’Fuarain in the prequel to the series televised The Witcher streaming service Netflix : “She is the newest of her nomadic sword elf tribe. Jodie Turner-Smith no longer has a role in the Witcher: Blood Origin on Netflix
While Jodie-Turner Smith was supposed to play Éile, a fierce warrior with the voice of a goddess, it is finally the actress Sophia Brown (The Capture, Marcella, Clique, Guerrilla, Casualty, Top Boy) who inherits the role. The six-part spin-off, set in an elven world 1,200 years before the world of The Witcher, tells a lost story with the creation of the first Witcher prototype and the events that led to the conjunction of the spheres , when the worlds of monsters, men and elves merged into one.
