Rob McElhenney’s comedy is renewed for two more seasons


Apple is ordering two new seasons for the Mythic Quest television series.

TV series Mythic Quest starring Rob McElhenney, also created by Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, centers on Ian Grimm, owner and creative director of a development studio, who struggles to keep his blockbuster video game at the top, along with the dysfunctional family who composes his team. Season 2 of the comedy, which wrapped up last June, saw Ian and Poppy (Charlotte Nicado) push the boundaries of their working relationship and friendship as the two creative minds and developers of the hugely popular MMORPG Raven’s Banquet were looking for the next best thing to do. The finale, titled “TBD,” saw Ian and Poppy, along with some of their colleagues, leave the famous studio for new adventures. These will be followed in a season 3 as well as a season 4 at the request ofApple to continue to feed the catalog of its streaming service.
