Tales of Arise, an opening like the animated series by Ufotable

The hugely popular animation studio Ufotable made the opening cutscene for Tales of Arise with the Hibana theme by Japanese rock band Kankaku Piero.

In Tales of Arisen, Alphen and Shionne will be brought to free Dahna from the renan oppression. Little by little, Rinwell, Law, Kisara, Dohalim and the Hootle mascot will come to support them using their different fighting techniques. Climb rocky terrains, swim in rivers, hang out around a campfire, cook, move from town to town, beat the master of another planet and free the people. Finally, thanks to the new “bonus strikes” system, players will now be able to chain powerful attacks (combos of art, bonus attacks and bonus strikes) with the characters in the license.

As for the old opus of the license (Tales of Xillia, Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Zestiria, Tales of Berseria), Ufotable was again requested by the teams of Bandai Namco to realize an opening cinematic worthy of a real anime to provide a glimpse of the epic journey that awaits players as well as some enemies to fight. The key moments of the story will also be illustrated by the animation studio using a new graphic shader (inspired by anime and watercolor paintings).

Tales of Arise will be available on September 10 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S et PC.
