A trailer for The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3 begins following the events of The Witcher 2. The plot combines several elements of the story, the two main ones being the invasion of the Northern Kingdoms by Nilfgaard and Geralt’s personal quest to eliminate the Wild Hunt: “The world is in chaos. The air is charged with tension and smoke from the burning villages. The terrible Empire of Nilfgaard strikes again and ravages the hapless Northern Kingdoms. The nations that once attempted to manipulate Geralt for their own ends are now subdued. In these uncertain times, no one can predict the future, which will bring peace and which will cause misery. But a dark and deadly force emerges. The men and women of the different armies present fail to understand that this conflict is child’s play compared to the danger represented by the Wild Hunt, the terrible threat from another world. These horrible spectral horsemen have for centuries preyed upon humanity, bringing misery to the world.
