Three documents are necessary: Finally, those who have recovered will also receive their corona vaccination certificate
From this Friday on, those who have recovered can finally pick up their digital corona vaccination certificate in pharmacies. Three documents are required for this.
From this Friday on, digital corona vaccination certificates should also be available in pharmacies for those who have recovered who have also received a vaccination. The necessary technical solution has now been implemented, as the German Pharmacists Association announced on Thursday in Berlin.
More than 20 million vaccination certificates have already been issued via the pharmacy system, said chairman Thomas Dittrich. For citizens who have gone through an infection and therefore only received a single vaccination afterwards, it was technically not yet possible. “Now it’s working.”
On the Online portal mein-apothekenmanager.de you can find out where a pharmacy is nearby that offers this service.

In order to get the digital proof to show on the mobile phone, those who have recovered would have to present three documents to the pharmacy: an ID with a photo, proof of a positive PCR test and proof of the one-time vaccination, for example in the yellow vaccination book.
“After all, there are more than 3.7 million convalescents in the country, many of whom have since been vaccinated,” said Dittrich. “The vaccination certificate can help you to enjoy the summer and vacation time more easily”. The offer is free for citizens, pharmacies receive a good 5.04 euros plus VAT.
The QR code printed on the vaccination certificate can then be scanned in with a vaccination pass app of their choice: In addition to the specially developed app “CovPass“the QR code can also be found in the Corona-Warn-App or the Luca-App embed.

What does the digital vaccination certificate bring me?
The app can then be used as a kind of digital ID. Travelers then only need to show the forgery-proof QR code in the app to confirm that they are either fully vaccinated or tested negative. The digital certificate also offers the opportunity to prove vaccination protection in restaurants, shops or at sporting and cultural events.
Important: The QR code can only be used if 14 days have passed after the last vaccination. When checked, the QR code only shows the most necessary information, such as vaccination status, name and date of birth. In addition to the app, a valid identification document, such as an identity card, is also required.
Will the digital vaccination certificate be compulsory?
No. “The digital vaccination certificate is only a voluntary and additional offer,” says a current information from the Federal Ministry of Health. Anyone who does not have a digital vaccination certificate can still prove a vaccination using the yellow vaccination card.
